The Full Story
A Riverside Retreat
My client had a riverside chateau that he purchased as a vacation home and AirBnB. With all the natural wood, it made sense to go with a hunting lodge style with industrial accents. Most of the lighting was changed to relay the design. Curtains were made with inexpensive burlap. The rooms received new paint to accent existing elements.
Before
Each window in this room was a different height and width. I added floor length curtains to create symmetry.
After
The clients' prized taxidermy were displayed, bringing together the theme. Changing the lighting was the single most transformative element in this design. The client and his guests now enjoy an authentic PA experience on the Delaware River Gap.
